Hi! My name is Georgia Cairns.

I am a bright and creative individual working in game development and narrative design.

In 2019 I graduated with an MA in Creative Writing from the University of Dundee, and left, having had several pieces of my work published in University publications and on social media. From a collection of short stories, discontinuous essays and a selection of articles in a journalist role, I have explored every avenue of creative writing and enjoy it immensely.

In 2023 I started working towards an HND in Computer Games Development at Edinburgh College from which I will graduate in June. The course has given me a firm foundation in coding, including C#, Monogame and Unity, and allowed me to explore one of my other great passions, art. I have honed my skills in digital art and animation, and even dabbled in 3D modelling using 3Ds Max. Showcased on this site, is some of my personal art work and a selection of the games I have created during my time on this course.

My hope is that I can combine my love of creative writing with technology and video games, either in narrative or level design, asset creation or coding, My wide range of skills, combined with my hardworking and friendly personality make me an invaluable asset to any potential game development.
